With over 17 years of expertise in surveying and GPS technology, Kevin Newman serves as the Director of GPS Field Operations at Gulf Stream Construction. In this critical role, Kevin ensures the highest standards of accuracy and precision across all field operations, driving quality control and overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge technology.

Kevin’s leadership has been instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence within the company. His unwavering commitment to upholding high standards has consistently delivered exceptional project outcomes. He developed and implemented Gulf Stream’s New Quality Control Program, establishing a new industry benchmark. Recognized as one of the top professionals in South Carolina for Trimble GPS Technology, Kevin has demonstrated a mastery of advanced GPS solutions. Additionally, he spearheaded a comprehensive GPS training program, equipping teams with the skills needed to excel in modern surveying practices. His proficiency in geospatial data collection is further enhanced by his FAA Part 107 drone license, which allows him to leverage unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for advanced aerial surveying—significantly improving both project accuracy and efficiency.
