Chad is an experienced Senior Project Manager at Gulf Stream Construction, with over 20 years of expertise in managing large-scale construction projects, specializing in heavy civil construction, landfill development, and industrial site preparation. With a robust background in both the operational and management aspects of construction, Mr. Clontz has a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Chad began his career in the construction industry working in maintenance and production roles, including in rock quarries, asphalt manufacturing facilities, and heavy equipment operations. His hands-on experience in the field gave him a solid foundation, and in 2005, he transitioned into project management, where he has excelled in leading and executing high-value construction projects across various sectors, including landfill construction, utility infrastructure, and industrial site development.
He has been responsible for the management and oversight of millions of square feet of industrial space development, as well as major landfill and environmental remediation projects, such as the Williams Station Ash Landfill and Fly Ash Pond Remediation projects in South Carolina. His expertise is complemented by his certification as a Caterpillar Certified Trainer, having completed the intensive “Train the Trainer” program at Tinaja Hills, Arizona. He has personally trained over 300 equipment operators in safety practices and skill development, ensuring that his teams operate with the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
